Rabbi Mendy Deitsch is a Brooklyn native who grew up in Crown Heights and was deeply connected to the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Since moving to Chandler, Arizona, in 1997, Rabbi Deitsch has played a central role in building and strengthening Jewish life in the East Valley. Under his leadership and involvement, the community has grown from having very little Jewish infrastructure into a vibrant Jewish center serving families from diverse backgrounds, with educational programs including a preschool, day school, and Sunday school.

Rabbi Deitsch serves as Rabbi of Chabad of the East Valley and Director of the Pollack Chabad Center for Jewish Life. He has also traveled extensively, teaching Kabbalah and Jewish Mysticism to Jewish communities in Bangkok, Singapore, Central America, Russia, and Australia. His work focuses on bringing the depth, beauty, and relevance of Torah and Jewish life to Jews from all backgrounds.
